Fawzia Sultan International School is a non-profit, grades 1-12, American curriculum school dedicated to serving the educational needs of children with learning differences. FSIS believes in student-centered teaching and learning, as well as collaborative/cross-curricular planning and teaching among its staff. FSIS is a well-resourced school in which technology (BYOD program, interactive white boards, Google aps, etc.) is used to enhance student learning. FSIS takes pride in the fact that it is the very best school for students with mild to moderate learning challenges in Kuwait, and is well recognized for its team approachto student support and learning. FSIS is an academic program that strives to bridge learning gaps, as well as to assist students in acquiring appropriate strategies in order to support their own learning. Our overall goal is to have our students attend post-secondary schools in Kuwait and abroad.

The school is governed by an appointed volunteer Board of Trustees, is approved by the Ministry of Private Education in Kuwait, and is a member of international organizations such as ECIS and NESA. The school facility is a purpose built building in an urban setting. The school has an excellent indoor gym, squash courts and fitness area, computer labs for all levels, work rooms in each department for small group and individual instruction, a well-resourced literacy lab, library, science labs, cafeteria, art and music rooms, and classrooms that support the learning of our students.
